Structural Features

The main frame of the multi-hole modular cable tray is made of high-quality cold-rolled steel plate or aluminum alloy, shaped like a U-tray with 10-50mm high side flanges. Circular or elongated openings are evenly distributed at the bottom and lower part of the side panels, with an opening rate typically between 15% and 30%. Accessories include dedicated covers, elbows, tees, crosses, connecting plates, etc., which can be flexibly combined according to the wiring path.

Installation and Selection Considerations

 

When selecting a cable tray, the width should be determined based on the total cross-sectional area of ​​the cables, ensuring a fill rate of no more than 40% (power cables) or 50% (control cables), and selecting appropriate materials based on the environment. During installation, the spacing between horizontal hangers should not exceed 1.5m, and the spacing between vertical supports should not exceed 2.5m. Each section of cable tray must be bridged with a copper core wire of at least 6mm² to ensure grounding safety.
